If there is a book out there that seem to make Satan a likeable figure, it must be Paradise Lost by John Milton. However that was not Milton's intention. The argument by Satan in Paradise Lost was very seductive that I can't but help feel for Satan in that book. Some critics have said that Milton wanted to prove that evil is seductive.
