I will miss the F14. The US Navy retired it and replaced it with Super Hornet. If I am not mistaken the first fighter jet armed with a BVR missile capability, the AIM 120. And the only fighter jet with swept wing technology. Strangely it wasn't successful in the export market. Only US and Iran uses it. Iran still uses it for mini AWACS like duty. Served on all the aircraft carriers in the US Navy. Tom Crusie immortalised it in Top Gun.
